What Week Is It?
What Week Is It?
Welcome back everyone. I hope that you all are staying safe during these trying times. I can't wait until this is over so we can all resume our lives in the most normal way possible.
I have titled this post "What Week Is It" because I really don't know how many weeks it has been since our lives have come to a halt. All the days seem to feel like the same, living the same day over and over again. We all must try to break the cycle and do something active or purposeful every day.
This would have been a special week for Stevenson Baseball. Our senior week, our senior day, and our last regular season series leading to a spot in the playoffs. I truly feel terribly for not only the Stevenson University seniors but all the student athlete seniors all over the country that have lost their senior day.
Senior Day is one of the days that many look forward to as student athletes. It is a day of both sadness because your college career is over but it is also a day to be worshiped. All of the hard work that athletes put in all comes together on senior day when all the fans, teammates, and families come to the field to celebrate the seniors.

I want to talk a little bit about the seniors on the baseball team. This group of guys are remarkable. Taking me in as a freshman last year and really bonding with them over the last two years made us a family.
Our seniors are great people on and off the field. They know when it is time to have fun off the field and they help everyone stay focused on the field when we need to compete. These guys never leave anyone out as they all look to include everyone no matter what class they are in.
I am going to miss these guys so much as they really meant a lot to me. They showed me a lot about college baseball but also they showed me how to become a better person. To the ones coming back for one more year, I can't wait to see you guys on the field again and to the guys that are done, I know that you will be successful in your future and I will miss all of you.
